Compliance Monthly Discussions
Regulatory changes are made frequently at both the federal and state levels. Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Office of Institutional Compliance (OIC) remains diligent in monitoring these regulatory changes closely and holds a Compliance Discussion one Friday each month to keep Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ members informed of these changes. In addition, we use the Compliance Discussions as an opportunity to share information about all of the exciting work underway to provide updates of the institutional and compliance operating policies & procedures, to improve the communication efficacy, and to create opportunities for collaboration and teamwork because we are ONE TEAM!
Topics discussed are related to compliance in telehealth/telemedicine, HIPAA privacy & security, immigration, clinical billing, coding and reimbursement, conflict of interest and commitment, vendor interactions, research compliance, and other compliance areas.
Our goal is to answer your questions and provide guidance for maintaining compliance in your department. We want to select topics of interest to you. They do not have to be in one of the areas listed above. Please let us know of topics that you would like us to discuss by completing the short survey below.
