Welcome to the Public Health Career Support website! Our goal is to fully support you in your future career in the field of public health. You will find many available resources on our website, including information about the Certified Public Health (CPH) exam, public health positions, public health organizations, and open positions. You also have the option to meet directly with an MPH faculty member for career support.

Katherine Wells, MPH, is the director of the Department of Public Health for the City of Lubbock. Mrs. Wells discusses her position and offers career advice to Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ MPH students and alumni. We are pleased to work closely with Mrs. Wells in the field of public health, and we hope that this video will provide some insight to Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ students and alumni into the field of public health.

Public health organizations are a great way to get involved and connect with potential employers for available job opportunities and internships. Public health organizations will also help you stay up to date with important information in the field. We have listed several public health organizations that provide many valuable resources to students and alumni. The Career Center at Texas Tech University offers webinars for students in a variety of topics. These webinars are free of charge and last 30 minutes. Please click on the link below and register for those that are of interest to you.

The Certified Public Health (CPH) exam administered by the is an option available to students of the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ MPH program, as well as alumni of the program. The Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ MPH program has achieved accreditation status from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) through 2023, making Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ MPH students and alumni eligible to take the CPH exam. Successful completion of the CPH exam will enhance a student's academic background in public health, also being valuable for professional job opportunities in the field of public health.
