Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, doctoral, and professional degrees. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. School of Nursing Accreditation
In November 1982, the undergraduate program received full accreditation from the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas and in December 1983, the National League for Nursing granted initial accreditation, which was retroactive prior to the first graduation in June 1983. The graduate program received initial accreditation in March 1992.
The baccalaureate degree program/master's degree program in nursing/Doctor of Nursing Practice program and/or post-graduate APRN certificate program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education ().
