Demo Days - An Interactive Teambuilding Event
TeamSTEPPS (Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety) provides healthcare professionals with a framework for teaching teamwork and communication skills that lead to improved patient safety and quality of care.
Demo Days uses learned TeamSTEPPS skills and strategies, breaking them down into team building activities that enhance learning and application of key concepts. Team building activities focus on team structure, communication, leadership, situational monitoring, and mutual support. A toolkit of experiential learning activities is available to participating faculty and staff.
Demo Days is held two times each fall and spring semester. To register to attend, (teams welcome), please email the Office of Interprofessional Education at ipe@ttuhsc.edu.
