Foster the protection of research participants, both human and animal, in accordance with established ethical principles, federal and state regulations, Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ policy, and Assurances on file with the DHHS Offices of Human Research Protection and Laboratory Animal Welfare. MORE
Assist faculty and staff in identifying funding opportunities, to facilitate efforts in obtaining external funding through grants and contracts, and to promote the successful management of awarded projects. MORE
Operates and maintains the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ animal facilities under the direct supervision of the Institutional Veterinarian. Through these operations the LARC provides for the procurement, housing, health, and welfare of research animals housed in Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ facilities. MORE

Promote a safe and healthy workplace, protect the environment, and assure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements at all Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ campuses. MORE
Improve the quality of health care in Texas through clinical, epidemiologic, and educational research activities; provide formalized clinical research education; and promote studies involving multi-school interactivity. MORE
Shared resources that are available for a fee-for-service charge. The facilities offer a wide range of services to the research community including cutting edge technologies, high-end instrumentation and technical support for basic, translational and clinical research. MORE
