Lab Safety and Orientation

The Institute of Anatomical Sciences provides safety orientation and training as well as university dissection based courses and anatomical reviews and skills labs for clinicians. Safety within the lab spaces is paramount so all participants within the lab will be guided through a safety orientation and training program. Participants will learn how to use the equipment in the labs safely and efficiently in order to decrease the risk of injury or exposure. University dissection based courses occur year round and constitute a major portion of the space use. Education of tomorrow’s healthcare providers is central to the mission of the Institute. Anatomical review courses and skill labs provide practicing healthcare providers the opportunity to improve their precision of care. Education of healthcare providers is why we are here.
