Presidential Communications
Good afternoon,
COVID-19 has truly redefined how we interact with one another. We’re job-sharing, learning new ways to communicate, and overall working to adjust to a new normal as we practice social distancing. Many of you are not only navigating a new workspace, but you are also simultaneously caring for family members and filling an educator’s role as your children learn at home.
Through all of this, please do not neglect your own health. We’ve heard so much about
how to physically prevent COVID-19 with handwashing and reducing exposure to others,
and that is of utmost importance. Another valuable tool is staying educated on COVID-19
with accurate information.
At 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 24,
Dr. Ron Cook will join me for a virtual town hall meeting
to talk about health concerns related to COVID-19.
Please join us by connecting at .
We plan to discuss your common health concerns, the impact of COVID-19 on Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ, and provide wellness tips.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions, and we’ll post a FAQ on the website following the town hall meeting. You may send questions to me before the meeting at president@ttuhsc.edu.
Thank you for the great participation in our town hall meetings last week. I truly appreciate your questions. Please remember, this is a new experience for us all, but we are ONE TEAM, and we’ll make it through this together.
Warmest regards,
Lori Rice-Spearman, Ph.D.
