Strategies:
- Listen to podcasts on topics of interest
- Read for pleasure
- Memorize poetry or a favorite passage or speech
- Work crosswords or engage in other mind-stimulating activities
- Research a topic of interest; share what you learn with someone
Tips for Intellectual Wellness:
- Develop a curiosity about the world around you; seek a greater understanding of the
things you’re curious about and consider writing down what you learn.
- Improve your skills and develop your gifts in one or more areas such as cooking, crafts,
music, or sports; set aside time each week or each month to practice your skills.
- Let your mind wander occasionally, since studies have shown that doing so can help
one solve problems, enhance their creativity, and find meaning in life.
