Governmental Relations

Mission

  • Represents Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ with elected officials, Federal agencies and legislative stakeholders in the pursuit of the funding and advancement of the institute's legislative initiatives
  • Works with Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ leadership in the development of state/federal funding initiatives
  • Aligns state/federal initiatives with corporate/foundation-based funding opportunities
  • Collaborates and augments Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ initiatives with the Texas Tech University System

Support Role

  • Leads and coordinates all matters relating to external communications with state and federal governmental entities
  • Monitors state and federal legislation and garners support necessary to the operations and advancement of Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ
