Explore Midland
Midland is the proud home of the Physician Assistant program, a vital part of the
School of Health Professions. This program, initiated in 1999, has a clear and important
mission: to educate and prepare physician assistants to deliver essential healthcare
services in primary care settings, especially in rural and underserved areas of West
Texas.
What's remarkable is that the Physician Assistant program has consistently achieved
an impressive five-year, first-time pass rate on licensure exams, consistently at
or above the national average of 95 percent. In fact, the most recent class achieved
a perfect 100% first-time pass rate. If you aspire to join the ranks of skilled healthcare
professionals, apply to the Master of Physician Assistant Studies in Midland.
