Patients, Colleagues Name Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ's Young as Physician of the Year

Rodney Young, M.D., regional chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ-Amarillo, has been named the Texas Academy of Family Physicians 2018 Texas Family Physician of the Year.


Amarillo Staff Gets into Holiday Spirit

Grad Students to Attend Annual Toxicology Meeting

Four students from the School of Pharmacy’s Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (GPPS) have received a Graduate Student Travel Support Award to attend the 58th Annual Meeting of the Society of Toxicology March 10-14 in Baltimore. 


Red Bag Tours Coming to Amarillo Campus

High school and undergraduate sign-ups for Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ's Red Bag Tours are open for 2019! Students can now experience first-hand health care education at all Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ campuses, including Amarillo. 


Texas Tech University System, Texas Tech University Honor The Don and Sybil Harrington Foundation

The commitment of The Don and Sybil Harrington Foundation to generously support the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine with a $1 million endowment to support scholarships was recognized this month during a ceremony held at the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ School of Pharmacy in Amarillo.


Pizza Nomad on Campus Tuesdays, Thursdays

There’s a new lunch option on campus! The food truck visits Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ-Amarillo from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. Catch them in front of the Amarillo Research Building. You can also call in your order at (806) 477-2660 or order on their website.
